Opinions from the Dutch
Do you know anyone with hepatitis?
Do you think hepatitis will ever become an epidemic?
Do you think treatment for the disease should become cheaper?
The insurance companies want to make a large profit
The material for the treatment, like drugs, have a high cost
There aren't a lot of people with the disease, relatively, so the demand
isn't high
This questionnaire is filled in by 21 people from the Netherlands. About 3/4 of these people don't know someone with hepatitis and won't think that it will become an epidemic in their country. From this, a very rough conclusion can be made. This is that hepatitis isn't a more serious issue among people in Denmark than among people in Slovakia. However, more people are worried about the disease in the Netherlands than in Denmark.
